The Dream Team

I am not sure if I have fever but I can not stop looking at these Balmain beauties on net-a-porter!
These pair of shoes is what I call the DREAM TEAM!

These have to be SO MUCH fun to play with! I can think of a zillion ways to parade around town with these boots for fall!
SH*T! Why wasn't I born with a trust fund or have been given the chance to win and hit the lottery!?
These will have to fall into my "Wish list" for fall 09!

Dreaming....

...still dreaming....!!!

My boyfriend jacket

I just love my boyfriend jacket. I got it in the beginning of spring and have rocked it day and night. It just always works in the easiest ways and I am currently obsessed with anything light grey!

During the day, I can easily wear it with some acid washed jeans or light colored ones with a simple white tank or tee for an easy sharp look to meetings.

At night, I can throw it on top of a hot party dress or jumper for a sleek city-chic look. A good night out with some girlfriends and got these in my mailbox the next day... excuse the weird postures!

My "F* me" pumps!

Oh, I love me some Amy Winehouse anytime on my Mackie speakers!

Anyway, I have these blue electric pumps from Chloe that I simply adore! I bought them during fall, full price (when I had a real job) and it was love at first try! They fit like a glove!

I have been able to cruise with them from fall to spring. Well, now that summer is here, I haven't really rocked them but I have these images that I must put up so you can see why I call them my "F* me" pumps!

Nicole Brundage Booties!

I was excited to receive my new Nicole Brundage booties the other day! Nicole is a friend of my partner from Pursuit Of Heights.

Nicole is a very talented shoe designer from Texas who studied and resides in Italy (see her interview on Pursuit of Heights). I have grown quite fond of her work. She seems to be getting better from season to season and has an amazing taste in shoe making.

I got my first pair the other day and was so ecstatic. I had forgotten I had ordered the booties in brown. I really do not own any shoes in brown as I tend to think it is a safe color and a bit boring at times.

But, after having a shoe on my left hand and looking into my closet, I found some fun things to wear it with. I even have a coral Balenciaga motorcycle bag that I wear seldom and think they look amazing together.

Hopefully I can get some fun outfit pictures out with these shoes soon! Here is one with my bag and one my friend took of me the other night while we were out...

White Kaviar, please

GOD....these pants kick as*! This whole look is so right in so many ways. Although it is very unlike me to want to wear things that are way too rock and roll, as I am a lady of pearls..

HA!

The white combination of the blouse and pants just soften the look of these in your face pants and make it work.

This pictures is going up on my wall!

Colors of summer

I love the transition between spring and summer, especially in New York, minus all the rain!
I especially like when it gets a little cool in the evening and I can still wear fun spring jackets on top of my girly dresses.

I am wearing one of my favorite dresses. It kind of reminds me of Chloe's spring collection of last year, with its painterly print and my actual Chloe booties. I bought them last spring and wore them to death, all the way through the end of the summer.

Hair inspirations

I couldn't help but run to the bathroom and start curly, teasing and totally ruining my hair in attempts to get these iconic looks from John Galliano's, Christian Dior, 2010 Fall Couture Collection.

My new babies!

I went to Marc Jacobs store yesterday with my boyfriend to say hi to some friends. I didn't know they were having a sale and decided to browse around with no intentions of buying.

Of course, that is never the case with me.

I ended up buying these amazing pair of shoes. They are so architectural and sexy! And yes, they are comfortable!

I can't wait to wear them out with some fun outfits!!!

Welcome home loverssssss!!!

Rope it!

I am currently lusting and wanting this rope top by Anuschka Hoevener. It is so my style and I am dying to get my hands on this one of a kind piece!

You can wear it alone, as a top and pair it with a skirt or jeans, or layer it over a dress.

LOVE IT!!!

Kiki-ing around town

Between the rain and the nasty weather, there is always a little time for what I call "kiki-ing around town" (English version, socializing).

I really meant to go out and take pictures of cute girls in outfits for my other website, Pursuit Of Heights, but had way to much bubbly and forgot I even had my camera in my handbag. I guess I only remembered to take pictures of myself.

Real cute.

Anyway, this is my friend Taylor. He is AMAZING! I met Taylor at one of my parties through a friend, it was an insta' click! We always manage to have a good times and he always looks fabulous!

We  were both showed up wearing polka dots and laughed about it all night!

Rain, rain, go away!!!

OMG...it's been a month now and NY seems to be having some really bad luck with the rain!
What is going!? If this keeps up, I won't be able to have any fun in the streets and summer will be over!

Anyway, I had some coffee with my friend Taylor today on the Bowery and he happen to take a quick snap of me in the pouring rain. I had no idea it was going to rain, apparently I have not learned my lesson after a month of it and had heels on! Oops! Too bad we could not continue as the rain was coming down hard and he didn't have anybody to hold his umbrella! It was a one shot deal!

I hope the rain stops, I need to have some interesting things to bring to the table, as a newcomer to blogging!

Take me to the Minimarket

I ran into this label, MiniMarket a few weeks back and fell in love!

Minimarket is a Swedish clothing label by three sisters, Sofie, Pernilla and Jennifer Elvested, since 2006. Since then, it has been recognized by Elle Sweden.
The sisters all bring different elements and styles that make this line edgy and feminine. They also mix tailored elements, such as intricate collars and delicate pleating for an effortless look.

Inspiring!

For the love of Chloe

I am overly obssesd with Chloe shoes. I do not know what it is about their shoes that work with my style so much. The colors, the shapes...I just can't get enough!

The last ones I bought were dark grey bootie like one's. I saw them in the Iris store in Paris while I was there for Fashion Week. As soon as I walked into the store, my eyes were like magnets to them. I was completley in the opposite side of the store when I caught them from the corner of my eyes... giving them shark eye! I knew I had to have them!

Here they are on me while I was working. My girlfriend, Jessica, was snapping away bored while I typed away, it worked out.

My Chloe's...aren't they pretty!!??

Just Ina

I have always worked in fashion. It has always been like that one boyfriend you can't seem to ever get rid of. I can only take it for a few years at a time before I need a break and venture off into something new. Then, I miss it and go back.

It's just a weird relationship.

I decided to start a blog as I have WAY to much time on my hands as I was layed off my fashion job a few months back; the company went under. I was upset for a while but decided to start my own thing which I am currently working on, but would rather not talk about until it happens because if I do, it won't happen!

I also currently have another website, Pursuit Of Heights, where a friend/partner and I talk about accessories. I love accessories but also love clothes, food, art, music and pretty much anything so this is like a diary, an outlet for myself so I don't drive myself crazy, keep my mind busy!

Anyway, this is my brain, my vision, my inspirations. Love it or hate, it's just Ina... me!

..hope you enjoy my style ethics!
